Description
The grapes have been farmed organically at a small Barossa vineyard since 2014, with the resulting fruit from this site being of excellent quality. The wines are made with minimal additions, partially whole bunch fermented and aged in Russian(!) oak hogheads, then hand bottled and wax capped, giving them a true boutique expression. Aromas of deep blueberry, leathery pine needle, espresso and clove spice will open for a palate filled with great concentration and characters of dark fruit, cracked pepper and soft coffee ground tannins. A slurpy, hearty and elegant Barossa Syrah that is wicked to drink with great length. Perfect with lamb chops or beef ribs.
