Description
From the exciting Blackwood Valley in Western Australia, we bring this fruit forward wine that dances the line between warm and cool climate shiraz and offers fantastic value. The berries for the Ti Tree Gully Shiraz were kept whole for fermentation and a small percentage of whole bunches were added to build weight and complexity. Hand plunged and fermented in small open fermenters then matured mainly in seasoned oak. The wine is vibrant and appealing on the nose with delicious berries and fruit flavours bursting from the palate, complimented by a sprinkle of black pepper and classy vanilla oak. This is a medium bodied Shiraz all wrapped up in silky tannins. A great drink while young but will also cellar for 5-7 years. Serve this one with barbecued chicken, spareribs, burgers or a well-stocked cheese board.
